PrintPunk Web Page Printing Software - Overview

PrintPunk adds a toolbar to Internet Explorer with 7 buttons:

The Print button when pressed takes you to the standard internet explorer print preview window with a difference: the web page has been automatically shrunk to fit the printed page. Works with any paper size you select in page setup dialog in Internet Explorer.

PrintPunk will also enlarge the page if you select a large page size such as A3, or if you chose landscape mode.

The Fit button when pressed fits the web page horizontally to the visible window. This is useful when the page is slightly bigger than you window and you don't want to scroll horizontally all the time.

The Auto Fit button toggles a mode where every page is always automatically fitted to the window size as your browse.

The Zoom buttons and zoom the visible page on screen which can make it easier to read and you can print a zoomed version of the web page at any time.

The Images button will hide most pictures on the web page, useful for saving on ink when printing.

PrintPunk supports all paper sizes including Letter, Legal and Executive and ISO standard sizes such as A3 and A4.

PrintPunk requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or 7 to be installed on the computer. PrintPunk runs under Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, and Vista.

Currently PrintPunk has limited support for Avant, NetCaptor, MyIE2, Maxthon, AOL Explorer, and MSN Explorer. To use PrintPunk in these programs right click in the browser window and select PrintPunk Print To Fit from the menu. FireFox is not supported.
