Tutorial

You should now see the PrintPunk toolbar amongst your internet explorer toolbars.

You can also find a PrintPunk icon: on the right hand side of the main internet explorer toolbar. You can click this button to make the printpunk toolbar appear or disappear. Click here for help if the toolbar does not appear.

(Note: currently PrintPunk has limited support for Avant, NetCaptor, MyIE2, Maxthon, AOL Explorer, and MSN Explorer. To use PrintPunk in these programs right click in the browser window and select PrintPunk Print To Fit from the menu. FireFox is not supported)

How to use PrintPunk

Click the Zoom button once or twice. This will cause the webpage to grow bigger.

Select print preview from Internet Explorer's File menu. Notice how the page will be cut off on the right hand side. Now click on PrintPunk's Print Button . You will see the website display a print preview with the page correctly laid out.

Press the Shrink button a few times. The webpage will get smaller. Now try clicking the Print Button again, notice how it lays out the page to fill the paper size no matter what size the webpage is. Change the page setup to landscape and see how the web page is expanded automatically to fit right across the page.

Try the Scale control in the print preview window. This allows you to scale the web page on the printed page to any size you like.

The Images button will hide most pictures on the web page, useful for saving on ink when printing.

Click the Fit button , this will cause the webpage to Fill the window.

Click the Auto-Fit button . When this button is toggled, you can now resize the window and the whole page will always fill the window no matter how big or small the window is.

You can right click in any window and select PrintPunk Print To Fit from the menu. Handy for printing pop up windows.
